Every now and then we still come across the myth that eyelash extensions or volume lashes should not be washed as it may harm them. The truth is actually the exact opposite: cleansing your eyelash extensions with plenty of water and a suitable cleansing product should be part of your daily beauty routines as it helps keep your lashes looking beautiful and healthy. Regular cleansing and brushing of eyelash extensions are practically the only things that you need to do between the touch up appointments.
Impurities of skin such as oil, dirt and make-up residue can easily build up in the lash base. Such build-ups will make it difficult for a solid adhesive bond to be created between the natural lash and eyelash extensions thus shortening retention time remarkably. In addition, such impurities are a fertile ground for bacteria and may in the worst case lead to infections of the eye.
A professional lash stylist applies eyelash extensions or volume lashes using a cyanoacrylate based adhesive meant for such purpose. The eyelash adhesive forms a very strong bond between the natural lash and eyelash extention or volume fan. The cured adhesive bond is 100% waterproof.
Eyelash extensions adhesives cure (i.e. turn from liquid to solid form) using surrounding humidity. Contrary to the common belief, these adhesives are not cured by air.
If your lash stylist is using a nano mister, she will lightly humidify your lashes after having applied the extensions. The very fine mist produced by the nano mister will help the adhesive to cure quickly and thus there is no need to avoid getting your lashes wet for the typical 24 to 48 hours.
It is important to understand that when a nano mister is used, only a very small amount of humidity is used to cure the adhesive. If on the other hand, eyelash extensions are put in direct contact with water right after the application of eyelash extensions without having used a nano mister to cure the adhesive, a so called shock curing will take place. This will create tiny fractions in the adhesive bond that will lead to shorter retention.
Eyelash extensions should always be applied to clean natural lashes. As a general rule lashes should be washes about 2 to 3 hours prior to lash touch up or application. If natural lashes are not completely clean, they should be cleansed and dried well by the lash stylist right before application.
If natural lashes are very porous, they can be easily dried by gently pressing a facial tissue against the lashes. Sometimes natural lashes may need a little longer to dry. If eyelash extensions are applied to wet lashes, there is a risk that the formed adhesive bond may be weak due to shock curing. For this reason it is very important that lashes are both clean and dry when application of extensions is started.

The valid price is the price that is notified at the time the order is made. LashLovers Oy Ltd reserves the right to fix erroneously recorded prices. The prices include the currently valid VAT (where applicable). In accordance to the Cross-border VAT rule, if goods are sold and sent to a business in another EU country, VAT is not charged, granted that the customer has a valid VAT number.

The returned product must be unopened and unused, as well as in its sales condition.
If the customer cancels their order before the goods have already been sent, LashLovers Oy Ltd has the possibility to charge a reasonable compensatory amount for the costs for the money transfer and any inconvenience caused.
If the product has become broken or damaged during the postal delivery, the customer can return the product at no charge to the service provider as a customer return. The return must be accompanied by the customer's contact details, the reason for the return, as well as information as to whether the customer desires a new product or to cancel the trade, in regards to the ordered product. According to legislation from 2011, an online store is not obliged to automatically pay for the costs of customer returns.
SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES
